Ciara Isabel Neufeldt is an artist, craftsperson and educator. She graduated with a BFA from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in 2018, and in 2023, graduated from Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design with an MA Ceramics.

Her practice centres on bringing a moment of joy and celebration to everyday life, through ceramic objects and installations. Her work is created with the intention of creating inclusion and accessibility to art in our daily lives. She does so through a range of working practices and pedagogies, including functional public installations and facilitating community out-reach projects.

Ciara has extensive ceramic experience, through her own practice and also through her work as a fabricator and assistant to other artists.

She has received numerous awards for her projects, notably including the Inches Carr Scottish Craft Award in 2019 and Konstnärsnämden’s Assistentstipendium in 2023. She has been chosen for Local Heroes Design ‘Process’ Programme 2023, and previously was selected for Craft Scotland’s ‘Compass’ Programme cohort in 2019.
